To offer the best alternative pre-tertiary private institution in Ghana.
Success without limit is our Goal
German Ghanaian School is a community based institution which was established about 25 years ago as Denchemuoso Vocational Training Centre. The aim at that time was to give skill training to young men and women who had dropped out of school due to early Pregnancy and Financial difficulties.
The decision to establish such a skill training centre to support the underprivileged in the community was the brainchild of Mr. Albert Osei-Wusu who is domiciled in Munich – Germany and a native of Denchemouso. Through his Personal Initiative and Financial Support and also support from his foundation German Ghanaian Friendship Association, many youth in and around Denchemuoso have benefited from the institute.
The Vocational Training was eventually upgraded to a German Ghanaian Senior Secondary School, offering all Arts Subjects with Technical Subjects included, and with Boarding and Lodging Facilities.
In 2015 in consultation with the Board chairman Atwimahene, the institute was transformed and rebranded as pre-tertiary institution and a German language learning centre.
In September 2015 the first group of preschool children were admitted to start Ghana Education Service curriculum, The aim is to offer well grounded foundation for children, the future of our children depends on the foundation we offer them today. We are not only developing students academically. We are offering distinct foundation which is tailored to groom the students to be competitive in the global world. Our students must be confident and truthful at all times. They must be assets to the society they belong to.
Our environment is our friend and so all of us at German Ghanaian School respect the environment, we therefore do Not engage in any human activities which will be detrimental to the environment.
Our German language Lesson is based on the Goethe institute curriculum. It is open to all interested persons who are ready to learn the language.
Our school has a partner school in Murnau – Germany; our partnership is for mutual benefit. It is for both schools to exchange ideas and opportunities. Teachers and students have the opportunity to understand each other’s culture.

These young Germans are offered the opportunity to integrate with Ghanaian families and also be part of German Ghanaian school daily activities and programs.
